Such a great place. The new owners are outstanding hosts. Clean, quiet, free WIFI, and in the middle of town. I’ve been staying at the Darfield Hotel for years. I always stay there when I go to NZ.

Great place to stay, really big and spacious rooms with full facilities. Run by a husband and wife team who are efficient, polite, and very helpfull. We stayed for one night only but could have easily stayed longer. Well done both of you.

We loved our room here. We had our own little garden and garden furniture. It was really lovely. The room was beautifully furnished and equipped.

The place was spotlessly clean and well though out with nice touches.

We really enjoyed our stay and would return if in the area.

We stayed one night on the way to the West Coast in a 2 bedroom unit. There was heaps of room, 1 room with x 3 single beds and 1 room with a queen bed. Fantastic equipped kitchen and bathroom. Immaculately clean and tidy.

Comfortable beds with generous amounts of bedding, towels. Was the perfect place to stay for a break in the drive to the West Coast. The new owners were so welcoming, friendly and full of tips for our drive and tips about the local bakery!!

We will would highly recommend and will be back .
